How many times a week or a month do you and your spouse/significant other go on a date?

How often do you go out and where (movies, dinner, dancing)? Or if you stay in what do you do that is special? I need new ideas.How many times a week or a month do you and your spouse/significant other go on a date?
Well, since money is a little tight, we can only afford to go out maybe twice a month. But every Saturday we rent a movie and cook a nice dinner and cuddle together.

We don't call anything we do ';a date';, but we do watch TV shows together regularly, eat our whenever we feel like it, and sometimes go to a friends' house, or have friends over. 3-4 times a year we might go see a movie - not as a ';date'; but because there's a movie we both want to see; we travel together, usually to see our families; go to events we're interested in. Just whatever comes up. This month we're going to Blizzcon, and the current show we're watching on Blueray is Battlestar Galactica.
Believe it or not, we like to stay in. We have been married for eight years and have kept the spice alive by making sure that the monotonous, tedious errands are done when we are not around each other. Since we both work so much, we have tried to make sure that the time we do have together is just about us.


Try having a stay in bed and f*ck, make love, or experimental day. Remember sex should not be lumped into just one word like alphabet soup.


I'm not sure if you are a man or a woman, but I know that my husband finds me very physically attractive and I like to be looked at. It's a great combination and without any inhibitions can be a great experience to just revel in that other person.


I try to attract my others mental attention and not just the physical. The way you can do this is to know what your other is into. Even if what that is is not what you are into, it is so flattering to see that my husband has run a bubble bath with flowers and candles. Especially when I know he wouldn't be caught dead in a bubble bath. I'm pretty sure he's all about me jumping up and down to let my belly shake even though I wish I had the motivation to do a few extra sit ups. What one person doesn't like, another might think it's the most sensual thing the other person has ever experienced. Take a few minutes to think about the passionate time you have had. It's ok to repeat some of them. Just be genuine and don't do it with the mind state that you are putting on a show. I mean, this is the person you can't get enough of right?
We usually go out once a week for dinner. And every weekend we have dinner and games night at my family's house. We're both homebodies so that works for us!
We try to go out twice a month. If we stay in, it is a nice dinner, movie, night by the fire with wine.

We used to go out every weekend but we need to find a new baby sitter now.
