Does having felonies in your record mean you cant make your immigrant spouse a citizen?

if you have felonies does that mean that when you apply for your spouses green card or citizenship you cant obtain it? someone said that felonies in the Citizen's record restrict you from applying for your spouses citizenship is this true??Does having felonies in your record mean you cant make your immigrant spouse a citizen?
If the guy is a citizen that should not be a problem. But at the same time you might attract attention to your self and they can revoke it. www.justanswers.com, They charge a small fee but it will be worth it.Does having felonies in your record mean you cant make your immigrant spouse a citizen?
NOT at all.

If the foreign spouse themself has a criminal record then they cannot become a green card holder or a citizen.

The american spouse is ok to have a criminal record - that will not affect the foreign spouses application. It just means that the american spouse cannot visit the wife's country (or any other country).

I do agree that marrying a convicted felon is not a very smart move.
If you have a criminal record, and haven't been pardoned, you'll most likely get denied
It probably does.

I don`t see why though, Maybe if you had some tail at home you wouldn`t be out doing home invasions and gangbanging!!
No ... But when you go for the green card interview

they do check for outstanding warrant ...
She can't be too smart to be with a convicted felon, I hope they look at it really close.
