Is it legal for the Department od Revenue to give out income information to an ex-spouse?

Can an ex find out how much money you make from child support agency? Would they contact a person and tell them that there ex is making more money and that they should take them to court to get more money from them?Is it legal for the Department od Revenue to give out income information to an ex-spouse?
they probably WONT give out the information, but if they did they would probly only need your ssn and mothers maiden name as security questions and being that yall used to be married im sure they would know the answers. Im kind of confused about the rest of your question though.... Are you worried that your ex is going to find out you make more than they thought and want more child support?? If this is the case, your ex would have to hire a lawyer to file a Petition for Modification of Support Order and pay the court costs to have it filed. Then they would set a court date and the court would just request your new income/employer information and your child support would be adjusted.

If thats not the case, then are you worried about someone finding out how much YOU get from an ex for child support?? Explain what you mean and why you are asking and i can help you more pleaseIs it legal for the Department od Revenue to give out income information to an ex-spouse?
Some info can be found in public records. Especially if there are tax liabilities involved or that occured during the marriage.
